memo- Quipper was founded in London by Masayuki Watanabe, who is a co-founder of DeNA. The startup had a series A round of 2.3M pounds in May 2012 from Globis Capital Partners, Atomico, and Benesse, which is one of the educational companies providing contents for GAKUMO.
